Indeed, essential oils must be used with caution during pregnancy. These recommendations mainly concern oral use, diffusion, and specific preparations where the concentration of essential oils can be high. Our cosmetic products contain less than 1% essential oils, so these amounts are so minimal that they have no harmful effect on the baby. You can therefore use them without risk during your pregnancy and breastfeeding. If you prefer to avoid them anyway, we offer natural cosmetics without essential oils, for example, our natural deodorant l'Exotique is made with a natural fragrance without any essential oils.

Bonus: its tiger nut oil content slows hair regrowth and prevents ingrown hairs.

Our deodorants are primarily composed of organic coconut oil, an essential ingredient in the composition for its antibacterial and nourishing properties for the skin. In addition, coconut oil melts and penetrates the skin easily, leaving no greasy feeling or staining clothes. However, its melting point is around 25°C, which makes it quite sensitive to heat. This is why your deodorant has a more balm-like texture in winter and a more cream-like texture in summer. Its effectiveness, however, is the same all year round! To ensure the quality of a hygiene or beauty product and to avoid endocrine disruptors or other undesirable elements, you can check the product label to ensure that the percentage of natural or naturally-derived ingredients is at least 95%. Furthermore, for transparency, we always provide the list of ingredients in French and in descending order of concentration so that you know exactly what your natural cosmetic is made of. A little tip for reading small print: take a picture of your label and zoom in on your phone! You should also know that there are currently several applications available to help you decipher the composition of each product in a few seconds.
